I LOVE to play. And I must say, I am truly pretty good at it! Children seem to sense this quickly, tugging me into imaginary worlds, demonstrating their uniqueness and bountiful energy. I choose to work with children because I cherish their open minds and hearts. Naturally spontaneous, curious, and creative, they inspire me to stay in the present through my senses. Caring for and teaching children is meaningful work to me. I am so pleased to have found a home where I can grow Creative Cultivation.
My education, diverse experiences, connection with children, and social values have prepared me to be a uniquely gifted childcare provider. I have taught and cared for children for 20 years, having lead dance, music, and drama classes. Also, I have provided long-term care for newborns through 8 years of age.
I studied music and theatre, psychology, administration, and professional counseling at various universities. I have lived in rural towns in Kentucky and Virginia, as well as cities, which include St. Louis, New York, and Nashville. I have been a teacher, a performer, a life-long student, an outdoor adventurer, and a nanny.
I have discovered that my knowledge, talents, personality, and honest love for children have prepared me for this next creative endeavor. I am extremely excited to begin!
